Smart Insights is an AI-powered analytics layer that automatically surfaces patterns, trends, and anomalies from your form responses — no manual analysis required.
What Smart Insights generates
- •Summary statistics — response count, average completion time, completion rate, and drop-off points.
- •Sentiment analysis — for open-text fields, the AI classifies responses as positive, neutral, or negative and provides an overall sentiment score.
- •Trend detection — if response patterns change over time (e.g., satisfaction declining), the AI highlights it.
- •Key themes — common topics and keywords extracted from free-text answers, displayed as a tag cloud.
Accessing Smart Insights
- 1Open any form's Results tab.
- 2Click the "Smart Insights" panel at the top of the results view.
- 3The AI analyzes all your responses and displays the insights dashboard.
Insights are generated when you ask for them, not on a schedule — new submissions do not trigger a re-analysis behind your back, so credits are only spent when you click. Click again whenever you want the insights brought up to date.
What it costs
- •Smart Insights — 1 AI credit per run, whether you refresh the whole form or a single question.
- •AI Recommendations (the "suggestions to improve your form" card, available from 10 responses) — 3 AI credits per run.
- •Ask AI, the chat in the same Results tab, is separate and costs 5 credits per question.
Smart Insights is available on all plans, including the free Mild plan.
Pro tip
Pin important insights to the top of the results view so your team sees them first when opening the form.
